Driving along the coastline road that connects Santa Maria al Bagno and Gallipoli is a succession of splendid rocky cliffs. There where a road literally splits in two, a rocky promontory, the inlet has taken the name Montagna Spaccata. Access is not easy but it is worth the effort!. Strikingly clear, turquoise water, a place not often visited. Just one piece of advice: avoid the month of August! Traffic and parking can become insurmountable obstacles.
